This year’s progress so far. 3 casting calls posted, 1 shoot completed, 1 shoot arranged. The casting calls threw up half a dozen potentials but most of them are girls I have worked with before. Fresh talent is proving difficult to find. In the good old days any girl willing to show her fanny was suitable but nowadays I’ve seen it all before and want something special. Unfortunately I think I will be pissing into the wind for the rest of the year and beyond.
I’ve never bothered making New Year’s resolutions and even if I did I would, like 99% of the people who do, fail to keep any of them for more than the first couple of weeks of January. The problem is I need something or someone to kickstart my year or I’m liable to end up dying in bed of boredom.
I’ve been studying the advice given on various digital photography web sites and it seems I’m way out of step with the know-it-alls yet again. Shockingly I have never ever fine tuned the autofocus on any of my lenses or cleaned the sensor on any of my digital cameras. For these failings I’m surely damned to burn in hell!
If you haven’t nodded off you may have noticed subtle alterations in the appearance of the site. I’m bored with my grey little existence, I need a bit of colour, so let’s try a different shade whenever there’s an update. I may be forced into even bigger changes because the WordPress theme I’m using for the site is now unsupported. Introducing a new theme will bring major upheaval with the possible lose of some or all of the content which will mean starting from scratch again.
Some of you disciplinarians will get the connection between this attractive powerfully built young lady and Professor James Edwards MA, headmaster of Chiselbury School, for the sons of gentlefolk if I remember correctly. When she visited the Chateau de Vaughan I was on my bestest behaviour and made sure I never turned my back on her.
