Why don’t I name the models anymore? Thinking back over the history of SNAPSHOTS of GIRLS in most previous revisions I never did name the models. I have always found wading through the paperwork to find the names a pain in the arse so I haven’t bothered. I can see why you the customer want names. Like me, if you see a young lady who gets the juices flowing, you want to search for more. It’s often a fruitless mission though. The fact is nearly all internet models will be known by a shedload of different names depending on which market the images end up in. Some of these names are plucked out of thin air by the webmaster or editor to suit their publication, while others are stage names the models have chosen to keep some separation between their life in front of the camera and their home life. Stage names are a sensible idea too because pretty girls often attract nutters! Modelling careers are short. When moving on to a normal life there’s still a lot of prejudice against someone who’s made a living by taking their clothes off. Being a bit of a pussy cat I feel I should lend a hand with this anonymity especially since some of the young ladies who have graced the green sofa did it for reasons other than pursuing a modelling career or the money.
Well the new format website has been running for three months now so time to assess it’s progress. Using the ubiquitous WordPress software has made the site look more professional but at the expense of making it appear like every other photo blog on the web. Content? I’ve always been a boring stick in the mud sort of cunt so very little chance of improvement to be had there. I’m still not getting to grips with the movie updates which appear to be the most popular posts according to the stats. Must do better methinks. The number of hits I’m getting is going up, which is nice, and it always amazes me that some of you have been returning to checkout the updates on SNAPSHOTS of GIRLS for most of it’s long (over ten years) life. I salute you gentlemen.
The more I read the worthless ramblings of the cunts, sorry, art nude photographers, on the modelling website forums the more I mutter the word denial. These cunts, sorry, art nude photographers, are forever arguing the point that the business of taking art nude photographs is utterly nonsexual. Well I have question. If it is nonsexual why do most of them use attractive young females when, if the subject matter is all about light and form, a hairy arsed bloke is just as suitable. Answers on a postcard please.
